Privacy is a fairly big talking point in the tech industry these days. Everyone is concerned about user's privacy but no one big in the industry is doing anything about it. in fact, the biggest names in the tech industry are constantly creating new methods to gather data about you. Everything is a listening device these days. Many people even willingly purchase more listening devices to littler about their home. one of the ted talks I found particularly alarming was the one about police surveillance. the amount of detail that the police track about you gets dangerously close to dystopian sci-fi. being arrested for thought crimes is a real possibility in the future. while privacy is important, police being able to access private information is as well.
